Braintree St. Coletta Day School
Admissions

Students are referred to Braintree St. Coletta Day School by their local public school system. The public school system sends a packet containing pertinent information about the student for review. Once the packet is reviewed staff from St. Coletta's contacts the parent/guardian to arrange for them to come to the school for an interview and a tour of the facility. Following the tour, if the parent/guardian believes that St. Coletta's would be an appropriate match for their student, a half-day visit is arranged. When the prospective student visits he/she is placed in a classroom with peers who function at the same cognitive level. During the visit all specialists observe the student and make their recommendations to the admissions committee.

Once the committee makes a decision a letter is sent to the public school system and the family. If the student is accepted for placement, an admission date is set and a case manager works with the family to ensure all necessary information and required paperwork are completed. prior to admission.
