Volunteer Services

Cardinal Cushing Centers volunteer contribute their unique talents, skills and knowledge to enhance many of our programs.  Our volunteers provide personalized attention to our students with special needs. Opportunities include working with students/staff or within our support programs including Thrift & Gift Shop, Maintenance/Landscaping and Food Services.

St. Coletta and Cardinal Cushing Schools of Massachusetts, Inc.Volunteer Services encourages the team work of volunteers and employees.  We offer the best services possible to our clients by implementing our mission and values.

As an Adult Service volunteer you are encouraged to contribute your unique talents and knowledge, provide personalized attention,  and develop friendships.  Our students are learning impaired and mentally and physically challenged. Volunteers may participate in one of the following ways: Organized Activities, Individual Support, Organizational Supports.

Throughout your volunteer service to Cardinal Cushing Centers Inc., you will be acting as a representative of the corporation, sharing in our Franciscan values, and celebrating the spirit and accomplishment of our mission.

St. Coletta and Cardinal Cushing Schools of Massachusetts, Inc., accepts volunteers who are participating in student community service activities, student intern projects, corporate volunteer programs and other referral programs. A special agreement and responsibility are in place with the organization/school program from which the special case volunteers originate.

Give A Day:  You pick a day.  You pick a project.  You bring your team and complete a meaningful task in one day.  Projects will be selected based on your interests, talents, and resources. Give A Day!

Volunteer Services will contact you to set up an interview. Volunteers over age eighteen are required to complete a CORI (Criminal Offenders Record Information).
