Hanover Admissions

We strongly encourage parents who are seeking placement for their child to schedule a tour of the Cardinal Cushing Center at Hanover. By doing this, we can thoroughly demonstrate the programs and services offered by our organization and more accurately ascertain the suitability of our programs for your child.

In general, children and young adults ranging from age 6 up to 20 with mild to severe developmental delays who may have a secondary handicapping condition may be referred. Referrals can be made by both parent/guardian or by the appropriate school district. Referral packets should include current IEP, testing (psychological and educational), ancillary services reports (i.e., Speech, OT, etc.), medical information and other recent materials. The Board of Admissions meets weekly to review referrals. Following the initial review, an interview and evaluation are scheduled if the Board believes our programs can appropriately serve the student.

For more information or to schedule a tour of our program, interested parties may call Michelle Markowitz, Director of Admissions, at (781) 829-1205 or click here.
