Cushing Centers to host open house this week
Because of increasing
requests from parents of children with
special needs, Cardinal Cushing Centers will
begin offering recreational classes to the
community. The residential school has
been nurturing children with cognitive,
physical and emotional disabilities for
sixty years.
An Open House for
parents and students who wish to learn more
about the Enrichment Program will be held on
March 19 from 4:15 to 6:30pm in Kennedy Hall
on the Cushing campus, 405 Washington
Street, Hanover.
Classes begin April 7
and meet weekly at a cost of $100 for a six
week semester. Students age 6 to 22 can
choose from Yoga, Ballet, Scrapbooking,
Spring Arts Workshop, Quilting for the
Beginner, Fitness Fun, American Sign
Language, Rhythmic Arts Program and Cooking
for the Beginner Chef.
