Cardinal Cushing Centers to host open house this week

Because of increasing requests from parents of children with special needs, Cardinal Cushing Centers will begin offering recreational classes to the community.  The residential school has been nurturing children with cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities for sixty years.

An Open House for parents and students who wish to learn more about the Enrichment Program will be held on March 19 from 4:15 to 6:30pm in Kennedy Hall on the Cushing campus, 405 Washington Street, Hanover.

Classes begin April 7 and meet weekly at a cost of $100 for a six week semester.  Students age 6 to 22 can choose from Yoga, Ballet, Scrapbooking, Spring Arts Workshop, Quilting for the Beginner, Fitness Fun, American Sign Language, Rhythmic Arts Program and Cooking for the Beginner Chef.

More information plus class selection and payment can be found on the school’s website, www.coletta.org, or by calling the Admissions Department at 781-829-1205.
