Lawrence E. Sauer, Vice -president for Student Programs and Services Cardinal Cushing Centers, Hanover, welcomes back Lawrence E. Sauer as executive director

Sauer returns as Executive Director of Cardinal Cushing Centers

  HANOVER, MA, Jun 27, 2008 – Lawrence E. Sauer returns to the position of Executive Director of Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover after two years as an administrator at North River Collaborative in Rockland.  Sauer resumes a 17 year history with the special needs school where he served as executive director and director of student services. 

He will oversee daily program operations of the organization’s Hanover campus, supervise program directors, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with licensing agencies. 

In announcing Sauer’s selection, President & CEO of St. Coletta & Cardinal Cushing Schools Paul Hudson said, “Larry possesses historical knowledge plus advanced experience within the Collaborative. He brings a firm understanding of what will be required for program enhancement and development for the future.”

“I’m delighted to be back working directly with students,” said Sauer.  “Cardinal Cushing Centers has a unique community atmosphere that makes it a wonderful place to live and learn. It’s also a very good place to work.” 

Sauer is a graduate of the University of Dayton and has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Science in Human Services from the University of Massachusetts Boston.  He lives in Stoughton with his wife, Molly, and their two children.
