Gym
 We
use our gym for adaptive phys. ed. classes, for assemblies, and for
special events like Special Olympics.
Special Olympics has a separate, international
component called the Motor Activities Training Program (MATP). St. Coletta's has been participating in this segment of Special
Olympics longer than anyone. We make it a focal event where most
others who participate do MATP as a side event to traditional
Special Olympics.
Sporting a 15 year tradition, over forty
special Olympians from Braintree St. Coletta Day School and the community
compete in four Olympic events: Dexterity, Hand/Eye, Spatial, and
Body Awareness.
